FreshGrass produces annual festivals in North Adams, MA and Bentonville, AR, which are industry-leading events with dozens of bands and thousands of attendees. Our festivals take place at two of the best contemporary art museums in the country: MASS MoCA for FreshGrass | North Adams and at the Momentary for FreshGrass | Bentonville.

FreshGrass always features a diverse lineup encompassing the best in roots music — from traditional masters and iconic trailblazers to musical discoveries. Past performers include Brandi Carlile, Billy Strings, Ralph Stanley, Bela Fleck, and Del McCoury. Living legends like Mavis Staples, the Indigo Girls, and Dwight Yoakam have performed on FreshGrass stages where Rhiannon Giddens, Jade Bird, and Ruthie Foster all met new audiences and left them captivated.
The festival is rich with original compositions, spirited contests, and spontaneous collaborations. FreshGrass is a family-friendly experience that brings its venues to joyful life with music on indoor and outdoor stages, in museum galleries, and throughout its host cities.
